Sarah Middleider was awarded an ATF Grant in 2011 to cover fees to qualify and compete in the 2012 European Young Horse Eventing Championships.
Sarah is a very successful event rider and was the highest-placed young rider at Rolex 3 Day Event 2005-2006. She was named to the USEA Developing Rider List three times and was an alternate for the 2006 WEG for which she trained and competed in England with the US Team. She Purchased ATA Registered Harry Houdini in 2011 and in November of that year they finished 4th at the Galway Downs CCI*.
In 2012, Sarah traveled to Germany to work and train with Andreas Dibowski. Her goals was to compete and qualify for the 2012 Young Horse Championships. She had planned to compete in five CIC* or CIC** events leading up to the Championships. Unfortunately an injury to Harry Houdini prevented preparation for the Championships and as it turned out it was cancelled due to rain!
