The ATF awarded a grant to Kristin Counterman riding the Trakehner gelding Bellinger to be used for training and fees to qualify for the 2014 North American Junior/Young Rider Championships and the Dressage Festival of Champions.
Kristin and Bellinger completed their season of 2014 at the USDF Region 1 Championships where they brought home the Reserve Championship in the 4th level Jr/YR Championship. They were champion in the Prix St. George Jr/YR division of the Championships. Kristin also completed the last PSG score requirement riding Bellinger for her USDF Silver Medal.
At the Gladstone NJ Championships Kim MacMillan interviewed Kristin and she is included in an article in the ATA Magazine covering Trakehner Horses competing there. This article and photos can be found in the ATA on line Helen K. Gibble library in the 2014 Winter issue
